Happy Wednesday, Everyone!
I am so pleased to introduce Julia (Weiss) Taxin. She is another best friend of my sisters who has also become a friend of mine since living in Chicago. She is one of the most outgoing, charismatic, and FUN people that I know. Not to mention she is brilliant & beautiful. Julia has always had great style and is fashionable without being over the top.
Please enjoy getting to know Mrs Julia Taxin!
Can we please also point out that she is the most beautiful person I have ever seen?! Absolutely gorg and her husband isn’t so bad either 🙂
When asked how to describe her style…..
Anthropologie meets Underground.
Kidding. Kind of. I would describe my style as: Former solid white and black addict ventures into bold colors and fun accents.
Orange Dress: This is a new purchase for work by Eva Franco, it has great leather detailing and looks great with or without a cardigan. Find it HERE.
Green Dress: Looking forward to wearing this dress to a wedding this summer, it has a great open back and bold green emerald color. I just need to get it hemmed because it’s very long! Find it HERE.
Purple Shirt: I’ve worn this to work under a cardigan and also works great for a night out with a pair of skinny jeans. The color is bold and the cinched waist is flattering. It also has a peephole back, which I love. Find it HERE.
This blouse works great with skinny jeans and heels for a night out or tucked into a skirt or pants for a day at work. If you’re sensing a theme it’s because I like to buy pieces I am able to wear to more than one occasion.
Shirt is from Anthropologie: Leifsdottir, Paige jeans and Elizabeth and James heels
Bracelet: My aunt made me this beautiful bracelet for my wedding, I wore it at my rehearsal dinner and wear it now all of the time. It works for a casual outfit or formal occasion.
Glasses: Armani Exchange I have a large, round shaped head and it is very difficult to find glasses that look right on my face. I love these from Armani Exchange, they work well for large heads ;).
Tory Burch Bag: This was a graduation gift and has been my go-to bag for work and the weekend. It holds just enough (including my computer) without allowing things to get lost.
