Par for the Course

Since the weather got nicer, I have started playing a little golf.  The last couple of times I have just gone along for the ride (with a glass of wine in hand) &  have casually walked and hit a few holes as I felt like it.  The more I hit, the more I thought that I might actually like this sport.

Let me be clear.  I grew up playing in clinics and my summers were slammed with 2 swim teams, camps, tennis, and golf lessons.  I knew early on that golf “wasn’t for me” because it was too slow of a sport and everyone seemed just so quiet and serious.  My parents let me leave golf behind and continue with tennis but every-so-often reminded me that “when you get older, you’ll wish you can play”.  I hate to say it, but they were right.

Now, because of my days working at Vineyard Vines and a store that primarily carried Lilly, I have the outfits down. (Exhibit A).

I do, however need the essentials.  Yes, I need clubs and proper golf shoes.  My Tory Burch wedges just aren’t doing the trick.

While browsing the internet for golf shoes and some fun looking outfits, I came across Kate Spade’s new arrivals and there are some golf gems!  Check them out below 🙂
