Bea Strong

My first day back to work was a good one but it got even better when an incredible package was dropped off at our doorstep.  Jordan called and said he was bringing a bag of stuff from The Spotted Goose.  I had NO idea what was in store.

When he arrived at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital for the night, he handed over a big bag full of 4 little bags – each one with a tag:  Jordan & Hillary, Mr & Mrs Kelly, Mr & Mrs Weidner, and Bea.  I opened Bea’s first and the card said “Every queen needs her own logo”.  Inside were 2 light pink baby blankets, a plaque to hang in her nursery, and a cute pair of pink moccs.  In our bag and the bags for our parents, were these t-shirts reading : Bea Strong.

Our hearts melted.

I am borrowing her plaque until she makes it home.  In the meantime, it will reside on my desk at work 🙂

How amazing is this?  Because we have received so much support, The Spotted Goose is going to sell these t-shirts in their store starting on Thursday (April 2nd).  All proceeds will go to the research of Biliary Atresia at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital.  If you live out of town, just call and they can ship it for you 🙂
