Hi, Everyone! Hope you all had a great weekend! Our week was pretty eventful (more tomorrow) but all in all – a great and relaxing one. Check out some details below!
[Ultrasound + nap = great combo]
[Bea’s new hat for an eventual trip to Longboat…]
[Celebrated 5 weeks last week!]
[And the coolest thing happened. Someone had told Burt’s Bees Baby about Bea and what she’s been through. They sent her the nicest package full of bee blankets, outfits, hats, etc etc. SO kind and thoughtful & Bea already loved Burt’s Bees so it was the perfect thing to brighten our week!]
[Getting ready for the second half of the video we are doing for Children’s Hospital. We are fighting through our own battle so I thought camo was only appropriate 🙂 ]
[Pants, old. Top: HERE.]
[And an oldie but a goodie. J.Crew earrings. Old but find similar HERE.]
[And we finally got out of the house for a night out & a great friend’s wedding was the perfect excuse. We have had to be home from 7pm-9pm every night because that’s when some of her meds are due. They aren’t complicated but we know first hang how hard it is to make sure she gets them all in her mouth and swallows. We know the level of anxiety as you hold your breath hoping they all made it into her system. And the most important medication you have to give within a 10 minute window (9pm-9:10pm) and that is a very complicated one to put together. As you can see – WE have anxiety giving her meds so the thought of having anyone else attempt just seemed impossible.
HOWEVER – have I told you that we have the best parents in the world? My mom and dad took the first crack at it Saturday night and after writing all directions out and taking videos on how to put together and administer her most important med – they handled it all flawlessly. When we came home they acted like it was NO BIG DEAL (even if they were freaking out inside).
So that’s why we were able to get out. And next up: Jordan’s parents are going through our training program for another upcoming wedding we have. We are so lucky to have them all in our lives. We truly feel like we aren’t in this alone….medication administration and all!]
[It was hard to leave this face]
[Our nicely decorated house has officially turned into a fun house.]
[And my parent’s had a last minute pop up engagement party. Carolyn and Zack drove home from Florida Sunday and drove straight to my parents. They arrived at 7pm and people came over by 7:30pm. It was perfect.]
