Let’s start out with the results from the labs. We got them back today and her ALT is heading DOWN. It isn’t exactly where it needs to be but it is heading in the right direction. The change in medication has definitely helped.
We originally lowered her Prograf to wake up her body enough to fight the EBV but it started waking up a little too much therefore, we increased the Prograf to get the ALT down. We were also nervous about the EBV spiking since we increased her Prograf but it has remained steady (even slightly down) at 6,000.
Now, on to the fun stuff!
[This past week started out with Bea’s first donut! As you can see, she was hesitant at first but quickly realized I was doing her a favor.]
[Our Friday morning breakfast]
[Saturday night we had the Children’s Hospital annual Celestial Ball and since it was black tie, I searched high and low for the appropriate dress. I tired on a bunch of different options at Nordstrom but ultimately bought 2 different options: a long and a short. I ended up going with the long, see below because it had bumble bees on it. Can you believe it??! Find the Kate Spade dress HERE!]
[The bumble bees are very tiny so they are hard to see but they are there!]
[This Ted Baker was another one I purchased and I might even end up keeping it. Such a classic black dress that I could see wearing 1,000 times. Find it HERE.]
[On our way to the Celestial Ball!]
[LOVE this pink sweater from J.Crew. Find it HERE.]
[Jordan & I got carry out from O’Bryons and when he got home we were surprised by this on the box. He didn’t see anyone he knew working there which made it even more special that someone we may not know is a part of team #BEAstrong!]
[We celebrated my nephew’s 1st birthday over the weekend! So hard to believe he is already a year old and he is sweet as ever!]
[and our little lady has reached 39 weeks post transplant and is happier than ever! Take a little look at her walking video below. Just after 2 weeks she is turning into a pro!]
