Happy Tuesday! I hope you all had a great long weekend. Ours was SO jam-packed and SO SO SO fun! It was just so nice spending time with Jordan, Bea, and we had a lot of friends in town! We spent yesterday at a family friend’s pool and she absolutely loved the water.
More on her pool restrictions tomorrow on the blog.
SO – her health. She has been feeling MUCH better and although sh was battling 3 additional viruses (EBV being the 4th) she is feeling much better. I think by the tie we figured out what was going on, she was through the worst of it. Still no resolution on the bone number mystery but hoping to find out something soon.
This week is a short one for me at work (Tuesday and Wednesday) and then we have Bea’s annual check up on Thursday. She goes in at 7am Thursday for blood work and she goes under for an Echo. Hate having to put her under but when all of this was going down with her liver they also found out she had 2 holes in her heart. They were tiny so figured they would close but we are checking them out just to be sure! She gets to skip the ultrasound since we had that the other week. THEN we have an appointment with her doc to talk about this past year, how she’s doing and what next year will look like.
Although this appointment is a little earlier than July 7th it is still so so so hard to believe that we are talking annual visit. Like I truly can’t believe how far she’s come. I am beaming with pride even as I write this!
I have a bunch of pics from the weekend but also some from the last few weeks. Enjoy!
[A lover of tub time….]
[My little duck….]
[Couldn’t stop LOLing at this…my fellow moms will understand.]
[The weekend before last we celebrated my sister’s upcoming wedding! It was so fun being with her friends and family friends all weekend long and celebrating the bride to be!]
[And we celebrated our 4th anni at one of my favorite spots – E&O in Hyde Park. So much has gone on since we started dating 11+ years ago but I couldn’t imagine a better partner in all of this chaos!]
[So smiley in her PJs]
[The 10th annual Hats Off luncheon down at Smale park. Always a beautifully done event with great friends!]
[On Saturday night we went to an amazing family friend’s wedding. It was a gorgeous night celebrating such an incredible couple. And the reception was stunning. Pics don’t even do it justice.]
[And we were so excited to have family in town and have Bea finally meet her cousins! —side note: Thanks to a great friend for the adorable dress and a bunch of other darling girl’s clothing :)]
[3rd generation besties!]
[And out to lunch to enjoy the beautiful day at Oakley Pub & Grill!]
[Proud to BEA an American!]
[And she LOVED playing in the water!]
[She looks like how I felt when Monday night rolled around. Exhausted.]
[And our little liver lover has made it to the 46 week post transplant mark with flying colors!]
