Hope you all are having a great week. This weather is to die for! I am just loving the chilly temps in the morning and am so looking forward to when it is socially acceptable to wear a scarf every.single.day.
In the meantime, I wanted to share with you some recent purchases I made and am absolutely loving.
Like I shared, here, I pulled the trigger on a nice pair of AG jeans and I am living in these on the weekends. (Picture below)
Other recent purchases I have made are below. I have loved every single thing and plan on getting a ton of use out of each piece!
#1: 7 for all Mankind Ponte Pant. Find them here. I just bought these a couple of weeks ago and wore them to the conference. They are amazing. They look like a jean but fit like a thick legging. Super, super comfortable and a great slim leg for tall boots in the winter.
#2: Since we can’t wear jeans to work (sign) I gave in and finally bought some work pants that actually fit. I have about 3 pairs of just these normal black trousers from Gap that I normally wear, so I was beyond thankful that they make the same pant in maternity. Find them here.
#3: I also went ahead and purchased them in the cropped pant as well. Perfect for ball and with booties to work. Find them here.
#4: I know I mentioned this in my weekly wears post but I am absolutely loving this sweater I purchased over the weekend. The pictures don’t do it justice but it is a perfect transitional sweater for maternity and non maternity. Find it here.
Happy almost weekend everyone! We are heading to Denver tomorrow to visit my brother-in-law, sister-in-law, niece and to FINALLY meet our nephew 🙂 OH – added bonus – one of my best friends and her husband live in Denver too so needless to say – I won’t be able to sleep tonight!!!!!!
As I promised earlier, I wanted to send out a quick little post about my maternity jean hunt. I have heard such great things from friends and here are my top 3 options. I actually purchased option #1 and let me just tell you – best purchase I’ve ever made. I can’t stop wearing these jeans because they feel like butter on my skin pajama jeans. And let me be clear – they don’t LOOK like pajama jeans 🙂
Option #1: AJ Jeans. I am going to embarrass myself and show you an actual picture of the top of these jeans because I really feel like I should. They are the kind that have the panel that pulls all the way over your stomach. It is almost like a built in Spanx for your jeans. I might just wear maternity jeans for the rest of my life.
Option #2: Citizens of Humanity . I have a friend who purchased these and she said she wore them so much that by the end, they could have walked away on their own. If that isn’t a testament to these jeans – I don’t know what is.
Option #3: J.Brand . The very fashionable friend of my sisters told me these were a must have. Her exact quote:
“I LIVED in these all the way through my pregnancy. Dressed them up with heels/nice top for work and down with sweaters/tshirts at home.”
